Lindsay Basson es una fotógrafa Sudafricana que divide su tiempo entre la ciudad costera de Puerto Elizabeth y el bello pueblo de Nieu Bethesda, en el corazón de Karoo. Comenzó como estudiante de teatro, pero pronto se dió cuenta que prefería ser fotógrafa. Después de completar su primer año en las artes escénicas, comenzó sus estudios en la Universidad Metropolitana Nelson Mandela en Puerto Elizabeth, donde estudió arte, diseño y fotografía por un año. Lindsay ama viajar y a descrito a la fotografía como algo más que sólo capturar momentos memorables para ella: “Es una forma de arte que me permite tomar lugares a los que he ido y las cosas que he visto y combinar estos elementos para hacerlos míos”.

Lindsay Basson is a South African photographer and freelance designer. Currently splits her time between the coastal city of Port Elizabeth and the beautiful small town in the heart of the Karoo, known as Nieu Bethesda. She started out as a theater student, but soon realized that she wanted to be a photographer instead. After completing her first year in performing arts, she began her studies at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth where she studied art, design, and photography for one year. Lindsay loves being on the road and has described photography as being so much more than just capturing memorable moments for her, “It is an art form that allows me to take the places I’ve been to and the things I’ve seen and combine these elements to make it my own.”
Her current tasks at Bimestral includes the corrections of the English texts as well as being part of the team evaluating and checking the quality of work produced and sent by the photographers.
